Characteristics
Made from Amakusa ceramic stone, the most tenacious ceramic stone. This is a top-grade clay that has been polished to a pure white by hand using traditional methods, and then sedimented after crushing it with a stamper and using only the raw stones which iron has been removed. It is an excellent porcelain clay in terms of strength, elongation and whiteness.
